The SAMPE Europe 22 Conference will be held in Hamburg, Germany from 15-17 November 2022. The event will be organized in a joint co-operation between SAMPE Germany and SAMPE Europe. The event will be LIVE.

A Pre-Conference Tutorial Program and the 37th SAMPE Students Seminar are held in conjunction with this SAMPE Europe International Conference. At SAMPE Europe Conferences over 100 authors are on stage. They present high-quality Technical Papers that focus on Challenging Applications in Advanced Composites Materials and their Processes. In the accompanying exhibition over 30 sponsoring companies will present their most recent innovations. Delegates from over 25 countries are expected.

All presentations will be LIVE on stage. A Live ticket includes all presentations in the Main Conference, lunches, network dinner and plant tours included. Attendance of the Tutorials can be booked in addition. The Proceedings with all Peer reviewed Technical Papers and PPT’s of Industrial Authors are free for download from the Platform. Delegates will receive a Personal Conference Code (PCC) to contact all Delegates of the conference through the Platform and for watching replays after.

Length of presentations 30 min. Break after 3rd speaker.
Additional costs for professionals attending the Tutorial are 50,- Euro for members and 100,- Euro for non-members. Master and Ph.D Students attending the tutorial are free of charge.

Plant Visits (five choices):

- ZAL – Zentrum für Angewandte Luftfahrtforschung, Hamburg

Plant visits are free of charge and included in the Conference Ticket. Participation in a tour is dependent on approval of the hosting company.
Warning for all locations: don’t forget to take your passport when attending the excursion. Without a passport, no access!
CTC & Airbus Stade
In this excursion you will visit the 2 neighboring locations of CTC & CU and Airbus Werk Stade. A plant tour of about 1 Hour in CTC & CU and in addition a 1.15 Hours tour at Airbus will be provided.
Lufthansa Technik
Lufthansa Technik is one of the leading MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) providers. On the Hamburg 22 Tour you will visit different locations. The structure component MRO facility, where composite structures such as the nacelles, radomes, and flight controls are repaired. In addition to one of the industry’s largest autoclaves, the tour will touch base with complex bonded repairs, automation, and new composite part manufacturing. Furthermore, the engine MRO facility location will be visited.
ZAL
After a short Introduction about history and mission of ZAL you will get a Tour through Halls A and C where mainly Airbus R&D projects are shown. The main topic is Hydrogen Storage in CFK and alternative Materials. Bernd Rettig and Klaus-Fabian Wolff from Airbus are your guides.
DESY
Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron DESY is a huge location with a lot to see. You’ll get a 2.5 Hours Tour through all main facilities. Due to the actual COVID rules all participants are asked to Test before arrival and wear a mask during the Tour.
